Project consists of furnishing and installing new bleachers with all associated earthwork and concrete work for a complete project at the Randy Wilson Track. Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid submitted. Bid Security must be in the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders - Invitation to Bid and be submitted in a separate sealed envelope clearly labeled Bid Security. Bid Security must be in one of the following forms: Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Certified Share Draft or Bank Draft of Surety Company and approved Bond Form. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. The submittals shall commence within ten (10) calendar days after the date set forth in written Notice to Proceed and work shall commence as early as needed to meet the substantial completion date of June 7 th , 2024. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interests of the Knoxville Community School District.
