The Parts shall be new, the manufacturer's latest production model. Current Parts listed on the price sheet may be approaching their "end of life", the District is requesting all bidders to offer their Manufacturer's recommendation for the items on the price sheet that are being discontinued. The District, in its sole discretion, may or may not accept an approved equivalent unit. Equivalent units will be considered provided descriptive literature and specifications accompanying the quote submittal. All standard warranty information and product literature is required to accompany your Bid submittal, so the items can be reviewed and if necessary, a sample requested. The Unit Price shall include the delivered cost of the unit, manuals, and standard warranty. The successful Bidder(s) shall be awarded a contract for an initial two (2) year term with two (2) subsequent one (1) year renewal periods. THE INTENT of this bid is to establish a contract for a period of a two (2) year term with two (2) subsequent one (1) year renewal periods from the date of award of the bid during which time the successful Bidder shall guarantee firm prices for the item(s) awarded to him as specified in this bid. The School Board has established a current SBE/VBE participation goal for this Bid of ten percent (10%) of the total contract revenues, which may be met with an SBE, a VBE, or a combination of both.
