Renovation of a conference / convention center in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Oklahoma City Convention Center Service Corridor Upgrades. Question Deadline 11/27/2023 at 12:00 PM CT. Estimated Amount: $700,000.00. Bid security percent:5% Liquidated Damages. Liquidated damages are for failure to complete work on time. The time for completion of the work is of the essence in this Contract. Liquidated damages will be assessed listed below: $500 Per Calendar Day. The sum of money thus deducted for each delay, failure or non-completion is not to be considered as a penalty but shall be deemed, taken and treated as reasonable liquidated damages since it would be impracticable and extremely difficult to fix the actual damages caused by such delay. Once Substantial Completion is achieved, the Contractor shall have 60 days to complete the punch list and all outstanding work. If punch list and all outstanding work is not complete after 60 days referenced above, liquidated damages shall be assessed at a rate of $2,000 per calendar day until work is complete. The procedure for an ASI/SI that does not require a change in the scope of work or impact cost of construction or extend the Contract time is as follows The City will consider and reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, and all Bids submitted are subject to this reservation. Questions and Answers deadline in Periscope will be moved to November 29, 2023 5:00:00 PM CST., in Lieu of November 27 th 2023 at 12:00:00 PM CST.
