No definite date for the rebid.** Sertoma Park Restroom Improvements The project shall consist of improvements to the restroom facility near the intersection of Riverside Park Road and Jefferson Avenue by the addition of a lift station and forcemain. Bids will be received as a Unit Price bid for General Construction. The Owner intends to award the Bid on the basis of the lowest Bids. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the principal's Bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after Notice of Award, shall execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing body. The Bid Bond of the three lowest Bidders will be retained until the contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than sixty (60) days. The Bid security is a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into contract for the work described in the Proposal. The bidder may submit a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier s check payable to the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District. All Bidders shall have a valid North Dakota Contractor s license of the appropriate Class for the work. Bidders shall enclose a copy of the license or Certificate of Renewal in the same envelope as the Bidder s Bond as required pursuant to Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code, as amended. Failure to do so will render the Bid invalid. No Bid will be read or considered unless it fully complies with the Bond and license requirements. Any deficient Bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Owner. The Work under this Contract shall be Substantially Completed by November 1, 2024, and shall achieve Final Completion by December 15, 2024.
