Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lost Creek, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Testing, Adjusting and Balancing work associated with the current HVAC Renovation Projects at multiple buildings within Harrison County, WV. Multiple mechanical contractors are involved with these projects currently. The scope of work varies by building and is described in the included specifications. In general, the work will include providing requisite Testing and Balancing Services as specified at the following sites. South Harrison Middle School South Harrison High School Liberty High School Lincoln High School Bridgeport Middle School Bridgeport High School Robert C. Byrd High School Hydronic and air balancing work will be required. Air system work is primarily in gymnasiums. Boiler plant related work is currently in progress and expected to be partially completed prior to award of this contract, Air System work will likely not occur until early spring of 2024. Completion of work for all buildings to occur over summer of 2024. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be licensed by WV and registered with WV Tax Department for all work they are performing or subcontracting in accordance with WV Department of Labor requirements. Carefully review the Bid Form for other certifications and compliances required for publiclybid work in WV. Per the Instructions to Bidders the deadline for submission of questions, requests for clarifications is 7 days before bids and 10 days for substitution requests, both at 1pm LPT. Carefully review the supplemental instructions to bidders for further information. Bids on the Work require a 5% bid bond issued by surety for the amount of the Bid Submitted, a 100% Performance bond and Payment bond will be required for the amount of the accepted bid. Owner is the Harrison County Board of Educations, represented by Jimmy Lopez, Assistant Superintendent and Danny Dennison, Director of Facilities, Architect is McKinley Architecture and Engineering represented by John Jefferis, Project Manager and Kurt Scheer, Engineer of Record Direct all questions and substitution requests in writing only to the Architects' administrative "projects" email account at projects@mckinleydelivers.com. All Bidding Document clarifications or changes will be made by Addendum only. Last Day to Submit Substitutions End of Day, 11/8/2023 Last Day to Submit Questions End of Day, 11/10/2023 Final Addendum Release: End of Day, 11/11/2023 Bid Opening: 1:00 pm, 11/16/2023 Notice to Proceed: ASAP Anticipated Start of Construction: ASAP Substantial Completion: July 30, 2024
