As of October 28, 2025, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. The project is scheduled to go before the voters on November 4, 2025 for final approval. A contractor will not be selected until after the vote. Upon a passing vote, it is anticipated construction will start in fall 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Berkshire Hills Regional School District is seeking proposals from qualified design professionals for the design of a new or renovated Monument Mountain High School in Great Barrington MA. Firms interested in submitting on this project must be prequalified by the MSBA Designer Selection Panel (DSP). The anticipated Construction cost for the project is between $80M and $100M. The current period of performance for the Designer shall be between Jan 2024 and November 2028. Skanska USA is the Owners Project Manager. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
