The project is being bid as a single prime contract: General Construction Scope of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing condemned structures located at the following locations: 14413 State Route 30; 87 Amsden St.; 32 Brewster St.; 251 Park St.; and 253 Park St, all Malone. These buildings vary in size and construction and will need to be demolished completely down to the foundation. An asbestos survey could not be completed, and it should be assumed that building materials are asbestos containing. The demolition of the building shall be completed with all friable asbestos in place per NYS DOL Site-Specific Variances that have been prepared by the engineer. All tipping fees will be paid for by Franklin County. There will be no pre-bid walkthrough. Contractors are advised to visit the site at their convenience to understand full scope of the project. Failure to visit the site will not constitute reason for change orders on visibly evident conditions.
