The project consists of building a new Community Services Complex building which includes a new Fire Hall. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposed. Failure to furnish a bid bond in compliance with the Town's bid deposit surety bond form shall make the bid non-responsive and cause the bid to be rejected. This project is partially funded by the Community Development Block Grant program with federal funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The Town of Conconully reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announced for the bid opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The Town of Conconully in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act All bidders must certify that they are not on the Controller General's list of ineligible contractors nor are they on the list of parties excluded from Federal procurement or non-procurement programs.
