Demolition for a warehouse / distribution facility in Guelph, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a warehouse / distribution facility.
The project calls for the demolition of the existing Hazardous Storage Building and site restoration thereafter. The General Contractor will carry and coordinate all sub-trades required to demolish and dispose of the entire building including buried footings and foundation walls, site services, all remaining contents, and the adjacent buried underground holding tank. The University will remove all hazardous contents from the building and pump out the underground chemical holding tank before turning over the building to the General Contractor. Any asbestos-containing materials present in the building are to be abated by the General Contractor prior to the demolition. Refer to the Hazardous Materials Inventory Report attached.
