Professional Services to Provide Facilities Condition Assessments. Question Deadline 12/07/2023 at 5:00 PM PT. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City desires to obtain the services of outside firms or individuals to help the City determine existing condition of its facilities, identify upcoming replacement and upgrade needs, and assess existing maintenance performance. Additionally, the City desires a schedule for managing all City building assets with associated and escalated costs, and a priority list of energy/operational saving opportunities for upgrading to newer technology and systems. SCOPE OF WORK Attached as Appendix A is a list of major work tasks to be accomplished as part of the scope of work. The proposer is asked to define the approach and the specific scope of work and methodology to achieve the objectives presented in this Request for Proposals RFP. The proposer should include a refined scope of work by developing a detailed description of all project tasks, both those suggested in this RFP and any changes, additions or recommendations proposed. General work description: The City desires to obtain the services of outside firms or individuals to help the City determine existing condition of its facilities, identify upcoming replacement and upgrade needs, and assess existing maintenance performance. Additionally, the City desires a schedule for managing all City building assets with associated and escalated costs, and a priority list of energy/operational saving opportunities for upgrading to newer technology and systems. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted in response to this request or any addenda thereto and may, in its discretion, reissue its Request for Proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The project is anticipated to start January 2024 and be completed by May 2024.
