Reference Number 0000335032 The City of Woonsocket, Rhode Island is seeking proposals for the purchase of water meters and procurement of a fixed network radio frequency (RF) advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system with hardware and applicable software to replace their existing meters and mobile RF meter reading system. This contract includes the supply of approximately 9,450 meters ranging in size from 5/8-inch to 2-inch, complete with encoder registers and RF modules. All Bidders must comply with the State of Rhode Island requirements regarding the participation of minority/women's business enterprises (MBE/WBE's) or DBE in the performance of this contract. The successful bidder will be required to include in their bid documents for subcontractors and MBE/WBE's "Fair Share" percentage which totals at least 10 percent (10%) of the dollar value of the entire procurement or project. *The City of Woonsocket reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or parts thereof, to waive any irregularity in the Proposals received, and to accept the proposal or part thereof to be most favorable to the best interest of the City.
