The City of Pleasanton (herein called the "City"), owner of the Pleasanton Municipal Airport, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for qualified parties interested in providing Aircraft Maintenance Services (hereinafter called "AMS"). In addition, the objective of soliciting proposals for AMS is to ensure adequate aeronautical services will be provided that advance the economic environment and the development of aeronautical operations for the airport. All interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals to provide individual or multiple services, which are identified in Section 1.4 of this RFP. Interested parties are also encouraged to submit proposals to provide airframe and powerplant repair services, and may include avionics instruments, propeller and accessory repair, and other additional services not identified in the Scope of Services Section. The City solicits interested parties to submit proposals to provide AMS services, beginning within 120 days of contract award. To facilitate this timeline, the City will make available for lease a 6281 square foot hangar for this operation until such time as another hangar is available on the field for lease or use by the AMS provider. All questions must be submitted in writing to J.J. Roberts at JJRoberts@Pleasantontx.gov with a cc to Johnny Huizar at JHuizar@Pleasantontx.gov on or before __November 23, 2023 . Questions will not be accepted in person, or via telephone, fax, regular postal or overnight delivery mail. An addendum to this RFP will then be posted on the City website with responses to all questions that have been received. Respondents are encouraged to consult this website during the course of the procurement process for addenda.
