Jefferson County Commission is accepting bids for SULFUR DIOXIDE for Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid. OVERVIEW Sulfur dioxide is a compressed, nonflammable liquefied gas for use in the treatment of potable water, wastewater or reclaimed water to remove excess residential chlorine. The lead department is Environmental Services and the only water reclamation facility (WRF) that uses it is Village Creek WWTP. Business License : In the event you receive a notification of intent to award letter, you will be required to provide your Jefferson County business license within 7 days of receipt of notice of intent to award. The inquiry deadline is November 16, 2023. Telephone inquiries with questions regarding clarification on any and all specifications of the ITB will not be accepted. All questions must be typewritten and emailed to Joy McDowell at mcdowellj@jccal.org. Notification of Intent should be emailed to Joy McDowell (mcdowellje@jccal.org) by 5:00 PM on 11/13/2023.
