The project location is approximately 1,500 linear feet from the parking lot entrance to the Wiouwash State Trail, (located south of Lakeview Avenue) near the Village of Hortonville. Culvert Maintenance (slip-lining) Three 34' long, 48-inch culverts exist allowing water to flow under the Wiouwash State Trail. To preserve these culverts, BOLD is seeking the services of an experienced operator to perform culvert maintenance by slip-lining each of the three culverts. The culvert lining used should be a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or equivalent material and span the entire length of each culvert. Liners should be securely fastened to the existing culverts on both ends and then any void area between the lining and the culvert shall be filled with concrete or polyurethane material. Sediment Basin Excavation/Clean-Out A sediment basin exists directly in front of the upstream side of the culverts. BOLD is seeking an experienced operator to install a temporary coffer dam to isolate this sediment basin by pumping water out of the basin in order to excavate material that has collected in the basin over time. The estimated quantity of sediment to be removed is approximately 200 cubic yards. Excavated materials can be transported to the Village of Hortonville municipal stockpile area located at N2911 County Road M, Hortonia TN.
