As of April 25,2024, bid has been cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. Cherry Point WRF Equalization Tank Addition project. The work to be performed consists of a new 2.2 million gallon wrapped prestressed concrete equalization tank. Construction will include installation of an EnviroMix system, a new equalization facility, new odor control equipment, field instrumentation, sitework and piping, painting, erosion control, tank flushing system, and other associated work. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the Work as described herein and indicated in the Contract Documents. Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders. Payment and Performance Bonds Required. The Contractor shall furnish a 100 percent performance bond and a 100 percent payment bond as security for the faithful performance of this contract, as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this contract and furnishing materials in connection with this contract. The performance bond and payment bond shall be in separate instruments. Before the final acceptance, each bond must be approved by the Owner. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law (South Carolina Code of Laws as amended on April 1, 1999, Chapter 11, Sections 40-11-10 through 40-11-428). No bidder may withdraw the bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof complete the WORK within 450 consecutive calendar days thereafter. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
