Granite School District is requesting bid proposals from qualified contractors to perform the following contracting services for a Capital Project. This is an ESSER funded project that requires the Contractors bid submission to include and adhere to the Davis Bacon requirements for federally funded projects. Kearns Jr. High School 4040 West Sam s Blvd (5305 South) Kearns, UT 84118 The anticipated start date of construction is December 1, 2023. The date of Substantial Completion is June 30, 2024. Liquidated Damages Granite School District will assess $250, per calendar day, as liquidated damages for the late completion of the project. BID BOND. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, at the time the bid is submitted A full one hundred percent (100%) performance bond in the amount of the Contract Price covering the faithful execution of the Construction Phase Work in accordance with the Contract Documents; A full one hundred percent (100%) payment bond in the amount of the Preconstruction Compensation covering payment .
