Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Awarding Authority through its Selection Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing both General (GC) Contractor services and Trade Subcontractor services through this RFQ process. The Awarding Authority will evaluate submitted Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ") based upon the identified evaluation criteria and points set forth in the RFQ document and only those firms obtaining the required minimum points will be deemed prequalified. Only those respondents deemed prequalified will be invited to submit a bid in response to a Request for Bids ("IFB") which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process. The project delivery method for construction will be General Contractor under M.G.L. Chapter 149. The project has been designed by CDM Smith and includes the construction of a new 0.8 million gallon per day (MGD), 5,600 square foot (SF) water treatment plant (WTP) and rehabilitation of pump station for existing water sources. The WTP will include radon removal, new high lift pumps, greensand pressure vessels, granular activated carbon (GAC) pressure vessels, chemical feed systems, backup generator and associated building mechanical. The completed project is needed for long-term PFAS compliance, and will mitigate PFAS with the required iron, manganese, and radon removal prior to the GAC. LCWD reserves the right to waive any informality, to amend any specification, to accept any portion of a SOQ or reject any or all SOQ if deemed to be in the District's best interest.
