Reference number: 1778002 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2023-11-27 The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for repair work on the envelope and balconies at Habitations Vimont at 525 to 530 Rue Viau, 525 to 530 Rue de Ville-Marie, 525 to 530 Rue Vimont, 530 Ave. William-David in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough. The project consists of carrying out all the work in accordance with the contract documents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Architecture: Replacement of balconies and rear exterior staircase; Replacement of the structure and decks of all balconies; Replacement of exterior doors and windows at the end of their life; Replacement of all free lintels; Replacement of exterior stair stringers; Repair of the acrylic coating; Repair and spot replacement of the dislocated exterior brick with hollowed joints, cracks, numerous bulges and ox bellies; Repair and repointing of several sections of masonry ; Repair of control joints ; The addition of cleanliness tiles under balconies; Addition of concrete slab for GMR management; Replacement of the sidewalks at the main entrance; The removal of brick walls from the main entrances and new staircases and entrance balconies. Structure: Rehabilitation of exterior concrete entrance landings; Structural repair of balconies and exterior stairs. The work will be carried out in a set of seven (7) three (3) storey buildings with thirty (30) units, intended for families, couples and individuals. The frame of the buildings is made of wooden planks and their exterior facings are made of brick. The units are currently all occupied. During the work, the units will be occupied with a few vacant units. The Work shall be performed within a maximum of three hundred (300) business days from the confirmed start date of the Work in the Letter of Engagement.
