Renovation of an educational facility in Winchester, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of December 14, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** The project is generally described as Building Automation System Replacement Orchard View Elementary School. Funding will utilize federal ARP Act ESSER III funds and will have special requirements outlined in the IFB including implementation of the Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wages requirements and will be subject to the Domestic Preference for Procurements requirement of the Code of Federal Regulations. Final completion must be achieved no later than August 22, 2024 In lieu of a pre-bid conference, vendors may submit questions to the Purchasing Department. Deadline for questions is November 15, 2023 at 12:00 pm local time. All questions should be sent via email to purchasing@fcpsk12.net. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than 5% of the amount of the bid, this may be a certified check or cashier's check, or a bid bond of 5% of the amount of the bid, made payable to Frederick County School Board. Bid bond provided via certified check or cashier's check can be hand delivered or mailed to Attention: Purchasing 1415 Amherst Street, Winchester VA 22601. Upon acceptance by the Owner the contractor shall provide the Owner with a Standard Performance and Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract.
