This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to overlay the existing bridge deck with latex modified concrete overlay, repair substructure, repair reinforced concrete diaphragms and deck girders, as directed in the plans. Work includes: portable lighting; existing bridge deck surface preparation by scarification and hydro-demolition the existing bridge deck; overlaying the prepared bridge deck with latex modified concrete; installation of elastomeric concrete joint headers and foam joint seals; grooving bridge deck; bridge jacking and reinforced concrete deck girder repairs, epoxy coating girders; substructure repair using concrete, shotcrete, and epoxy coating top of caps and struts; disposal of demolition and waste material; approach pavement milling and paving; seeding and mulching all grassed areas disturbed; and all incidental items necessary to complete the project as specified and shown on the plans. No separate measurement or payment will be made for seeding, mulching, or any measures required to control erosion or prevent off-site sedimentation.
