Items or services: Recondition one 3,000 HP electric motor (P-207) used on industrial size water pumps. Work includes furnishing labor, equipment, and materials to remove, transport motor to and from contractor's facility, recondition test per CWA specifications, and re-install at CWA's Lynchburg Pump Station, 908 Independence Parkway-N, Baytown, TX 77520. Contractor shall repair/recondition a 3,000 horsepower National Oil Varco induction motor used in powering an industrial-size Vertical Centrifugal Water Pump, complete and operational per the Contract Documents (including these Technical Specifications). The specific motor is designated as Motor P-207. 1.2 Project Location: Coastal Water Authority's Lynchburg Pump Station, 908 Independence Parkway North, Baytown, Texas 77520. 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK - BID ITEM (s) 2.1 BID ITEM - 1: This Is a lump sum price to provide all, labor, cranes, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, permits, and other Work to remove, transport, disassemble, test, repair, recondition, assemble, paint, return transport, and reinstall Motor P-207 complete, field test, commissioning, and operational per the Contract Documents (including these Technical Specifications). 2.2 BID ITEM - 2: This is a unit price to provide and install two (2) bearings specified in paragraph 7.3 of Technical Specifications. 2.3 BID ITEM - 3: This is a unit price to provide and install eight (8) heaters specified in paragraph 7.4 of Technical Specifications. 2.4 BID ITEM - 4: This is a lump sum price to provide and install five (5) RTDs and a vibration switch specified in paragraph 7.5 of Technical Specifications. 2.5 BID ITEM -5: This is a lump sum price to strip and rewind and VPI treat motor P-207 per paragraph 7.6 of the Technical Specifications. CWA may elect not to have work performed based on the test results. 2.6 BID ITEM -6: This is a lump sum price to rewind the copper rotor bars per paragraph 7.7 of the Technical Specifications. CWA may elect not to have work performed based on the test results.
