The intent of the project is to renovate 3 office spaces and a small kitchen into a conference room space on the ground floor at the University of Colorado, Fitzsimons Building, 12001 E 17th Place, Aurora, CO 80045, located on the Anschutz campus. The CU School of Medicine offers comprehensive, lifelong, interdisciplinary learning for health care professionals. For all projects with a total dollar value above $150,000 Notice of Final Settlement is required by C.R.S. 38-26-107(1). PROJECT ON EXISTING GROUND FLOOR IN FITZSIMONS BUILDING TO UPDATE FINISHES AND TECHNOLOGY IN AN OFFICE SUITE, AND CONVERT A TEACHING KITCHEN CLASSROOM TO A GENERAL PURPOSE TRAINING ROOM. AN EXISTING EXHAUST HOOD AND RELATED FIRE SUPRESSION SYSTEM WILL BE REMOVED, AS WELL AS EXSITING STOVE AND SINKS AT AN ISLAND AND BASE CABINET IN THE KITCHEN AREA. ALL OTHER EXISTING MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, FIRE SUPRESSION AND FIRE ALARMS WILL REMAIN IN EXISTING LOCATIONS. THERE ARE NO CHANGES TO THE BUILDING USES OR OCCUPANCY TYPE PROPOSED DURING THIS REMODEL.
