The City of Medicine Hat's Environmental Utilities Department uses liquid aluminum sulphate (alum) as a primary coagulant in its water and wastewater treatment facilities. The City is requesting quotes, from companies that meet all the following criteria, to supply 100% of our liquid aluminum sulphate requirements. Total estimated usage is approx. 3300 metric tonnes per year. This estimated usage can vary from year-to-year depending on raw water conditions.
