Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and posted through the RWA Bid Portal. All plan holders will be notified by e-mail that the addenda has been posted to the RWA Bid Portal. Questions received less than 5 calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. For information concerning the proposed Work, contact Jim Hill of South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority at 203-401-6729 The project includes the installation of a new THM Removal System and Booster Chlorination at the Ford Street Tanks which consist of one 1.84 MG welded steel tank and one 0.91 MG welded steel tank (net volume). The tanks currently have PAX mixers and power vents. The new THM removal system is intended to reduce THMs a minimum of 40 percent and be able to increase free chlorine residual up to 1 ppm within 8 hrs.
