Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
KHA Project No. 116057175 UPC 112759, U000-122-407, STP-5B03(073). This project is a state and federally funded project utilizing Urban funding. The project will provide pedestrian improvements along a section of Military Highway and at select intersections throughout Norfolk. Work will include concrete sidewalk, drainage system modifications, curb and gutter, curb ramps, pedestrian signals, tree removal, landscaping, and other associated items. Only VDOT prequalified contractors may bid on this project. A Bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk, for 5% of total bid must accompany each bid. Offerors shall upload a copy of the bid guarantee with the Offerors acknowledgement to mail the original sealed document to the Owner, within two (2) business days. State Contractor registration class and number is required by electronic bidding via the Vendor Questionnaire. The City reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the City.
