Site work for a water / sewer project in Ogoki, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Marten Falls First Nation (MFFN) is proceeding with a replacement of its existing raw water wet well. The community is accessible by air or winter road only, approximately 430 km northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario, in the community Ogoki, Onatrio. The general scope of work consists of the following: supply and installation of a new pre-cast concrete raw water wet well, including building to house equipment; supply and installation of new raw water pumping system; connection to existing raw water piping to the water treatment plant; connection to existing river intake piping; related mechanical and electrical works. Operation of the existing wet well is to be maintained throughout the project works. Interested General Contractors who have expertise in raw water supply / pumping station upgrades, specifically in remote First Nation communities, are invited to submit one PDF copy of Pre-Qualification Documents. The construction tender will include requirements for a 10% bid bond. The successful bidder will require a 50% labour and materials bond, a 50% performance bond, as well as a Commercial General Liability insurance policy of not less than $5,000,000.
