Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a theater / auditorium in La Mirada, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for the renovation of a theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid or in the bidding, as deemed to be in its best interest. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. The time of completion of contract shall be 60 working as defined in the Standard Specifications for Public Works. Liquidated Damages, as defined in the referenced specifications, Section 6-9, shall be $1,500 per day. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. Work includes interior renovation of existing second floor assembly space into a "Cabaret" lounge. Approximately 2,216 square feet of renovation area. Demolish existing ceiling framing, new framed drywall ceiling, new common and theatrical lighting fixtures, new non-structural vertical framing, new drywall, new interior wall and ceiling treatments, new floor finishes, in the City of La Mirada. Each Bidder shall possess a valid Class A or Class B Contractor's license issued by the California State Contractors License Board at the time of the Bid , unless this Project has any federal funding, in which case the successful Bidder must possess such a license at the time of Contract .
