The respondent shall provide insurance as set for in Attachment D provided by insurers, satisfactory to the City and authorized to do business in the State of Connecticut, an "A" - Best's Rating and at least a Class V3 or better financial category as shown in the most current A.M. Best Company ratings. The City of Waterbury, Department of Water Pollution Control (hereinafter "City"), is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to perform Piping Rock Pumping Station Improvements at the Water Pollution Control Facility as detailed and described in the Request for Proposal (the RFP) Documents A. Background and Intent This Request for Proposal scope of work includes the following major elements: 1. Complete demolition of existing Piping Rock Pump Station submersible components and partial demolition of interior components 2. Installation of new packaged pump station and valve chamber 3. Installation of new gravity sewer and force main from existing Piping Rock Pump Station to new pump station location 4. Installation of new electrical and communication services to new pump station 5. Site grading and asphalt paving 6. Bid Item to replace Diesel Generator and all Appurtenances
