A timeline for award has not yet been established.** SCOPE OF WORK: The project is located in Clark County, Nevada, T21S R61E Sec 23 & 24 and T21S R62E Sec 19 on Harmon Avenue from Maryland Parkway to Pecos Road and at the intersection of Rochelle Avenue and Escondido Street. The scope of work includes: reconstruct, rehabilitate, and widen pavement; construct sidewalk, driveways, and sidewalk ramps in pavement widening areas; construct new concrete cross gutters and replace existing concrete cross gutters; replace sidewalk ramps that are not ADA compliant; replace damaged curb, gutter, and sidewalk; install bicycle lanes and pavement markings; construct storm drain facilities; adjust utilities; upgrade HPS streetlights to LED and install new streetlights and streetlighting conduits, wires, and pull boxes; install ITS conduits, pull boxes, fiber optic cable, and other appurtenances; install loop detectors and traffic signal conduits, cables, and pull boxes; install a school flasher system; and replace existing signs and install new signs. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security (in the form of, at Bidder's option, a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, Money Order, or Bid Bond in favor of COUNTY) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base Bid amount, pledging that the Bidder will within ten (10) business days after COUNTY'S written request for insurance, furnish the bonds and insurance as required herein, covering the faithful performance of Contractor and the payment of all obligations arising hereunder. Bonds issued by a surety, who is an individual surety, are not acceptable to Clark County. Should the Bidder refuse to or fail to furnish such bonds and insurance, the amount of the Bid security may be forfeited to COUNTY. All checks and money orders must indicate the Payee as Clark County Department of Finance - Purchasing and Contracts Division and reflect the complete Bid number. Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. The Guaranty Bond will go into effect from the date of Notice of Substantial Completion.
