***This is Request for Qualifications that will result in a Professional Services Agreement*** The City is looking for a qualified engineering consulting firm with a team of industry professionals with project related Design/Construction/Operating experience. The consultant will be responsible for providing a broad range of services with the overall goal of ensuring a successful outcome. Firm selection will be based on overall company profile and experience in successful completion of past underground storage projects. The selected firm will have the following experience: Drilling and Completion, Reservoir, Oil and Gas Production, Mechanical, Geology, and Petroleum. Project 22123, Underground Natural Gas Storage consists of the design and construction of an underground natural gas storage facility that will aid the City's Gas department in securing reliable and affordable gas for their customers. Project Tasks may include but are not limited to:
o Reservoir selection
o Geological/Reservoir modeling
o Site selection
o Reservoir/Location/Market Feasibility studies
o Market /Financial Performa
o Facility Phasing plan
o Liaison during meetings with potential customers
o Council meeting presentations
o Permitting and regulatory approval
o Contractor Selection and Management
o Injection/Withdrawal and Monitoring Gas Well design and completion
o Gas Well Head design and construction
o Pipeline Design
o Above ground processing facility and compression equipment design
o Construction inspection and management
o Storage Facility operating experience
o Startup and initial x years operational assistance
o Ongoing Maintenance and facility replacement plan
o Operator Qualifications and Maintenance plans
o Employee training
