A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Philomath is requesting Proposals from qualified stone monument companies to complete the final design and installation of a granite Veterans Memorial. The intent of the Project is for the selected vendor to provide the following: A draft drawing of a proposed veteran memorial which fits the criteria provided by the City; manufacturing of the memorial structure; installation at the project site. The vendor will be actively licensed and in good standing with the Oregon Cunstruction Contractors Board (CCB). The scope of work shall include the following: Complete Initial Design Using the provided specification and conceptual drawings, the vendor will provide an initial design for the City to approve, prior to manufacturing. Vendor will include up to two revisions of the initial design. Manufacturing Specifications o Granite is to be quoted with one option black and one option dark gray. o (1) Granite monument stone 7 feet tall o (2) Granite monument stone 5 feet 4 inches tall o Include 6 military branch symbols. o Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy and Space Force. o Symbols will be quoted as either blasted or glass art, depending on manufacturer's ability. If vendor has the capability of both, provide a quote for both options. Installation o Delivery to and installation at Paul J Cochran Veterans Memorial Park site. o Vendor will install memorial in a manner that ensures durability for the intended use/location.
