Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in McDonough, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
MSSA Project Number- 202321 This project includes the demolition of the existing cooling tower and portions of cooling water and make up water piping at Austin Road Elementary School and at East Lake Elementary School, plus removal of associated electrical power circuits and electrical devices supporting the cooling tower. The project includes replacing the cooling tower with a new tower at each school, and new cooling water piping and drain piping and supports, as well as new electrical circuits. The project also includes control work to incorporate the new VFD fan modulation sequence into the existing central plant controls, make up water pipe modifications, chemical treatment of the new tower cooling water, and TAB work. For HVAC Modifications for Austin Road Elementary School, 50 Austin Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 and East Lake Elementary 7 School, 199 East Lake Road, McDonough, GA 30252, Henry County, Georgia. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
