Site work for a water / sewer project in Hilo, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove the existing booster pump and motor assembly, discharge head, and related materials; furnish a new Contractor-supplied vertical turbine pump, mechanical seal, stuffing box and new replacement motor nameplate in English; install Contractor furnished vertical turbine pump, mechanical seal, and stuffing box, existing vertical hollow shaft motor with new replacement motor nameplate, existing discharge head, and all appurtenant materials; chlorinate the suction can and pumping assembly; and complete efficiency and vibration tests; in accordance with the specifications. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form ("SQQ") provided by the Department of Water Supply is required to be filed with the Manager-Chief Engineer for evaluation no later than eight (8) days prior to the time advertised for the opening of bids unless the bidder has previously filed a Questionnaire within the previous two (2) years of the date of opening of bids. The Department of Water Supply reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, and to waive informalities
