Proposed New Train Layover Facility (Appx. 59,292m2 ) Consists of: 1 A Crew Centre (appx. 331m2) including all associated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing service 2 A Substation Building (Appx. 375m2 ), a (appx. 156m2 ) Waste Disposal Building and an (appx.31m2) Pump Room 3 Three (3) wayside power systems and three (3) jib cranes. 4 Three storage tracks with capacity to accommodate one L12L consist or two 1L6 consists on each track. 5 2 ea #10 turnout, and associated site development and site mechanical and electrical services 6 Clearing and grubbing of 51,000m2 7 Imported fill of 49,920m3 8 Forming new main access road of 3110m2 and 32 ea parking spot 9 New Propane Tanks, Diesel Generator, Transformer/Switch Gear, Air Compressors, Water Well Box Culvert Storage Tank 10 New culverts from 450mm dia to 1.2m dia 11 790m of ductbank and all electrical provisions required for the facility 12 Track connections to mainline at the east end. 13 Landscaping to the facility Official bid documents must be obtained from www.metrolinx.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
