In general, the Work consists of the demolition of existing well site features including removal of onsite concrete, chlorination shed, hydropneumatic tank, well piping, well pump and motor, well destruction, construction of a new well and equipment, onsite piping, storm drain facilities, connection to water main, site grading, installation of chlorination enclosure and equipment, installation of motor control center with concrete pad and shade structure, generator, site piping, and asphalt concrete paving. Bid Security with their Bidder's Proposal in the amount of 10% of the base bid amount. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is: $3,891,110.00. OWNER reserves the right after opening Bids to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or non-responsiveness in a Bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder and reject all other Bids, as it may best serve the interest of the OWNER. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Contractor shall begin Work within twenty-one (21) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed by the Owner. The Contractor shall complete all Work within four hundred (400) calendar days following the date of the Notice to Proceed. Time is of the essence and time of completion as specified will be enforced.
