Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of January 26, 2024, project was awarded to Safety Markings Inc., awarded amount is $536,102.12.** The following is a general description of the work to be done under this Contract. This list is intended to give the Contractor a general description of the work involved in this Contract and is not a complete listing of all work to be done. All work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents even though not specifically mentioned in this list. 1. Maintain traffic at all times in accordance with the work zone traffic control plans. 2. Clean and prepare pavement surfaces. 3. Install pavement markings. Installation of Pavement Markings at Various Locations in New York Division in Orange and Westchester Counties A Bid Bond must be in the amount of 5% of the total bid and must be on the Authority's Bid Bond Form (TA-44117) which is included in the Proposal. A Bid Deposit must be a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the New York State Thruway Authority in the amount of $40,000.00. The NYS Surety Bond Assistance Program (NYSBAP) provides technical and financial assistance to help contractors secure surety bonding. Contractors may be eligible to receive a guarantee of up to 30% to secure a surety bond line, bid bond or a performance and payment bond on State projects. Questions regarding compliance with Workforce Utilization/Gross Wages Reporting should be directed to the Authority's Office of Compliance. Liquidated Damages will also be assessed at rates shown in Table 108-1 of the NYSDOT Standard Specifications. An employee on any New York State Public Works Contract must be paid the full journeyperson prevailing wage unless such employee is individually registered in an approved and registered New York State Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program.
