Berkeley County is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide janitorial services for Berkeley County Water & Sanitation's administration & operations buildings located at 212 & 222 Oakley Plantation Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. The approximate square footage for both buildings is 29,680. Question Deadline 11/20/2023 at 12:00 PM ET. Offerors requiring additional information may submit their questions via the Berkeley County Bids. Verbal information obtained otherwise will not be considered in the awarding of the solicitation. All bids shall be entered in ink or typewritten and shall remain firm for a period of not less than ninety (90) days. Two (2) years from execution of final contract unless otherwise extended or terminated in accordance with solicitation/contract provisions. Upon agreement of both parties, contract may be extended for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. The County reserves the option to prepare and negotiate a Final Agreement with the vendor, giving due consideration to the stipulations of the vendor's contracts and associated legal documents. Vendors should include with their submittal a copy of any proposed standard contract. A performance bond is required if the contract award per year is in excess of $100,000.00. Your offer must include either a bid bond issued by a surety or sureties licensed in South Carolina or a certified check. The amount of surety shall be five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.
