Contact the bidding general contractors for site walk information. The infrastructure renovation and addition project will include upgrades to the MEPFP building systems of Taylor theatre. The project includes a 3-story mechanical addition serving all levels of Taylor and will be located in the south courtyard. The south courtyard is to be renovated and elevated 8” to provide an accessible route from the basement level of Taylor. The addition houses 3 AHU’s – one per floor – that support new HVAC systems within the rest of the building. Ceiling finishes and lighting throughout the building, excluding stage lighting, are being replaced. A new sprinkler system, switchboard, fire pump and generator are to be installed. A new metal stair located in the former shop area will replace the existing spiral stair and provide access to the top floor of the addition. Abatement has been included to renovate the existing building which has asbestos throughout the project scope areas. Theatre upgrades include new fixed seating, accessibility upgrades, new wheelchair lift, and fire curtain replacement as part of an alternate. Please see Alternates & Unit Pricing.
