The project involves the integrated renewal of the road infrastructure, sewers, and watermains on Anna Avenue from Carling Avenue to General Avenue and on Crown Avenue from Tunis Avenue to General Avenue. The scope of this project includes: New sanitary sewers on Anna Avenue between Carling Avenue and General Avenue intersection (approx. 450m). Remove and replace the sanitary sewer and all existing lateral services to the property limits. New sanitary sewers on Crown Crescent from Anna/Tunis to Anna/General intersections (approx. 200m). Remove and replace the sanitary sewer and all existing lateral services to the property limits. New watermain on Anna Avenue between Carling Avenue and General Avenue (approx. 450m). Remove and replace the watermain and all existing services to the property limits. New watermain on Crown Cres from Anna/Tunis to Anna/General intersections (approx. 250m). Remove and replace the watermain and all existing services to the property limits. A section of new watermain at Anna Avenue and Carling Avenue; extend the watermain 50m east on Carling Ave for looping. Remove and replace the watermain and all existing services to the property limits. A segment of new storm sewer on Crown Crescent (approx. 27m). Remove and replace storm sewer and all existing laterals services to the property limits. All other storm sewers in the project limits are in good condition and are to be protected during construction unless the that they cannot be. and #22 / #18 Viscount Ave. Consultant determines Abandon sanitary sewer in an existing easement located between properties #22 / #38 Anna Ave o Design and implement full road reconstruction including sidewalks and curbs (where applicable) on Anna Avenue between Carling Avenue and General Avenue. Implement full road reconstruction including sidewalks and curbs (where applicable) on Crown Crescent between Anna/Tunis and Anna / General intersections. TIMELINE: Engineering design is ongoing through to the end of 2025. A public Information Centre occurred April 15, 2025. Construction is planned for spring 2026, pending funding & owner's decision to proceed. Approved project funds to date are $1 million.
