The Ministry of Housing is seeking a consultant with experience and knowledge in small-scale multi-unit infill housing to provide professional services in relation to the Ministry's Standardized Housing Design Project. The consultant will engage in consultation with stakeholders (industry partners, local government staff, architects, designers, and homebuilders) to develop design parameters that can be used to create standardized housing designs for the Province. The consultation process will inform the design parameters for up to ten provincial designs for accessory dwelling units and multi-unit buildings up to four units per design that can be accommodated on a single detached lot. The consultant will also support the Ministry in procuring the services of a designer for the standardized designs, and review of the draft and completed designs. The expected contract term of this agreement is nine (9) months.
