The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 238210. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following: This is a non-personal services contract to provide network fiber repair to the VA Jefferson Barracks Fire Alarm Fiber and get network communication between the building working as designed. Fiber Replacement / Repair Project Repair (9) bad fusion splices in runs 75-57,51-60,24-1. Replace (20) bad Patch cords in runs 75-53,51-58,51-60,52- 54,23-1,23-55,25-1,25-2,3-2,57-55. Replace fiber and cassettes on X net B from 75-57. Replace fiber and cassettes on X net A from 3-18. Terminate and test the replaced fiber. Clean dirty cassettes on H net A 51-60. Clean dirty cassettes on X net A 3-2. Clean dirty cassettes on H net B 3-56. Any other fiber repairs needed on the Mass Notification (Desigo System) Contractor will clean up all fiber locations to ensure the protection of the fiber secured in a neat and workmanlike manner. Contractor will verify and ensure all labeling of fiber is up to date and accurate. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the brand name.
