Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

It is the intention of the City to solicit proposals for planning, stakeholder engagement, and engineering and design services for the concept layout and detailed design for the North 2nd Street Project. This includes preparation of geometric layouts as necessary, construction plans for bidding, and construction support. The North 2nd Street Bikeway Project is programmed in the City's Capital Improvement Program for construction and completion in 2027. The project includes a protected bikeway on 2nd Street North from Dowling Ave N to Plymouth Ave N. At three signalized intersections this project will incorporate protected bike intersection design elements to increase the safety and visibility of people walking and biking. Additional work will include upgrading ADA pedestrian ramps at three signalized intersections, APS signals, and potential traffic safety and green stormwater infrastructure elements through the length of the corridor.
