Site work for a transportation facility in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described in the Contract Documents. It is further intended that the Contract shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. An acceptable bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City of Natchitoches, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. Bidders are advised that Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required. Time of Construction: Forty-five (45) calendar days Liquidated Damages: $500 per calendar day Bids may be held by the City of Natchitoches for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date and hour set for the opening. Goals for minority participation for each trade: 29.3% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The City of Natchitoches reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause and reserves the right to waive any and all informalities.
