The board room of the Covington County Chancery Building, Collins, Mississippi, for the purchase of all commodities, equipment and supplies of every kind and character used by the county and its departments and the five supervisors' districts of the county, including, but not limited to, rough lumber and pilings per state and federal highway specifications, finished lumber, sand, rough gravel, and washed gravel, crushed seal aggregate equivalent to state aid specifications, slag, all sizes of rip-rap, hot mix asphalt, cold mix asphalt, other asphalt products, asphalt laydown, bridge supplies, concrete, janitorial supplies, grader blades, tires, batteries, anti-freeze, gasoline, bio-diesel fuel, diesel fuel (bidders for gasoline and diesel fuel are requested, but not required, to give quotes on tanker loads), oils and greases, traffic signs, road name signs, and other commodities, supplies and equipment necessary for the use of the county, its various officers and by the five supervisors' districts of the county, for the period commencing January 2nd , 2024, and ending December 31, 2024, or at such later date as another term bid is accepted. It is requested, but not required, that bidders for sand, rough gravel and washed gravel, hot mix asphalt, cold mix asphalt, and other asphalt products, crushed seal aggregate, limestone, crushed rock, rip-rap and slag give bids with prices for products shipped f.o.b. point of delivery, freight paid by vendor and price f.o.b. point of shipping. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
