The City of Scottsdale ("City") is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ's) from qualified engineering firms for professional services to provide electrical engineering and related services on an "as needed" basis at various project locations throughout the City of Scottsdale The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. At the beginning of each Task Order, a Scope of Work Conference will be scheduled to define design services required of the engineer. The range of services which engineer(s) may be asked to provide includes, but is not limited to, the following planning, engineering studies, project assessments, design, post-design and contract administration services: Project Administration & Supporting Services Engineering Studies & Project Assessments Project Feasibility & Preliminary Cost Estimating Services Electrical Systems - Design/Analysis: Fiber, Street & Pedestrian Lighting, Traffic Signals & Network Line Drawings & Load Calculations Utility Coordination Construction Drawings, Technical Specifications & Special Provisions Post-Design Services: Bid support (RFI's & Addendum) Construction Engineering/Engineer of Record Construction Administration (Inspections & Documentation Services) Electrical Design for: Traffic Signals & Appurtenances Intelligent Transportation Systems Fiber Optic Systems (Cable & Network) Street Lighting Pedestrian Lighting Photometrics The initial term of the On-Call Services Contract will be for two (2) years and will have a maximum contract term amount of $1,500,000. This On-Call Contract may be renewed for up to three (3) additional one-year terms, with a maximum term amount of $750,000. Renewal of the On-Call Services Contract will be based on the successful performance by the firm and the needs of the City. The On-Call Services Contract maximum may be increased at the time the option is exercised, or at another time deemed prudent by the mutual agreement of both parties. The City may award up to three (3) On-Call Services Contracts from this RFQ. The City makes no guarantee of work under an On-Call Services Contract. Estimated Impact:$1,500,000 The City of Scottsdale reserves the right to reject any oral Statements of Qualifications, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Statement of Qualifications received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective Statements of Qualifications received. A.R.S. 1-502 (H.B. 2008) requires that all PERSONS who will be awarded a contract and apply for public benefit must demonstrate through a signed affidavit and the presentation of a copy of documentation that verifies that they are lawfully present in the United States.
