Work to Include: The Contractor must provide all adequate and competent labor, equipment, tools, testing, and materials necessary to improve roadways by milling and overlaying road surfaces as specified along the following Parish roads: Katie Ct (R01I044) Section 17 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Mack Ln (R01I042) Section 17 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Pine Ave (R01I017) Section 18 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Place St Claude (R01E034) Section 47 Township 7S Range 11E Covington; - Raiford Oaks Blvd (R01I045) Section 17 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Whispering Ln (R01I016) Section 18 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Autumn Creek Dr (R01J083) Section 21 Township 8S Range 10E Madisonville; - Fairfield Oaks Dr (R01J057) Section 15 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Timberwood Ct (R01M012) Section 17 Township 7S Range 10E Madisonville; - Robinwood Ln (R03B005) Section 42 Township 7S Range 11E Covington; - Forest Dr (R04D037) Section 42 Township 8S Range 11E Mandeville A Bid Guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid, including Alternates, must accompany the Proposal and, at the option of the Bidder, may be a cashier's check, certified check or a satisfactory Bid Bond. The successful Bidder understands the limited contract time in the contract is seventy-five (75) Calendar days, and shall submit any request for an extension of time in accordance with the General and Supplementary Conditions. Said request will reflect the days requested and the reason for same. No extension request is guaranteed or absolute. The performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond forming part of this Contract shall be continued by Contractor and its Surety for a period of one (1) year from date of acceptance of the Work/Project by Owner to assure prompt removal and replacement of all defective material, equipment, components thereof, workmanship, etc., and to assure payment of any damage to property of Owner or others as a result of such defective materials, equipment, workmanship, etc. The last day to submit questions and/or verification on comparable products will be no later than 2:00 pm CST, seven (7) working days prior to the opening date of the bid/proposal due date.
