As of February 27, 2024, per owner, construction has not begun. The town was awarded a grant fo the design phase and a design team has been identified. The town will need to apply for grant funding for construction. Advertisement for Request for Qualifications Engineering Services Town of Roseboro Golden LEAF Foundation Grant Stormwater Improvements The Town of Roseboro, North Carolina, is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide Engineering services necessary to complete a Golden LEAF Foundation Stormwater Project. The Golden LEAF Stormwater grant involves the engineering design, survey, and permitting that is required. The design will detail the removal of current and failing stormwater infrastructure and replacement of approximately 600 LF of new concrete sidewalk with the accompanying stormwater drainage trenches and inlets along both sides of West Roseboro Street. The project will be financed with Golden LEAF Foundation funds (100% of total project costs). The Town of Roseboro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages proposals from small, minority, and female-owned businesses and certified Section 3 business concerns where applicable.
