To furnish the various items requisitioned by the Howard County Highway Engineer for the 2024 Materials and Supplies will be used for General Maintenance and Local Road and Street Projects. All bids MUST conform to the following conditions. Any bids not conforming WILL BE RETURNED unopened to the bidder. 2.Each item MUST be on separate bid form. 3.Each bid MUST be accompanied by a separate bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid submitted; when no specified amount is bid, said check or bid bond should be for a minimum of $1,000.00. A CERTIFIED CHECK shall be required to be filed with each bid by any person; firm, or corporation NOT having its principle place of business in the STATE OF INDIANA. A certified check or bond shall be required to file with each bid by any person, firm, or corporation who HAS a principle place of business in the STATE OF INDIANA. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to hold all bids under advisement for a period of up to sixty (60) days, to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure, and reject any and all bids. Berkley Road, Kokomo, Indiana, 46901, or phone (765) 456-2802. 5.Bidder will be permitted to use escalator clauses in submitting bid which could essentially read as stated on specifications.
