The work primarily consists of the installation of a digester, blowers, 4-inch concrete sidewalk, and the expansion of a chlorine contact basin. The deadline to ask questions is 12/01/2023 at 2:00 PM CT Questions shall be submitted in writing through www.civcastusa.com. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable Bid Bond, payable to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 50, in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid price submitted, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract within Ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. Check shall be drawn on a responsible bank in the state and a bid bond shall be issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the state. The right is reserved, as the interest of the district may require, to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Additionally, 24 hours after bids are opened, they cannot be withdrawn. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, are set forth in the Agreement The District may not accept this bid until it has received from the bidder a completed, signed, and notarized TEC Form 1295 complete with a certificate number assigned by the Texas Ethics Commission ("TEC"), pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908 and the rules promulgated thereunder by the TEC. The undersigned understands that failure to provide said form complete with a certificate number assigned by the TEC will result in a non-conforming bid and will prohibit Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 50 (Harris County MUD 50) from considering this bid for acceptance.
