Renovation of a mixed-use development in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project consists of repairs, re-tubing, and modifications to one (1) steam boiler so as to return it to fully operational condition. This project is located at the School District of Springfield, R-12, General Services Center (GSC), Springfield, Missouri. Question Deadline 12/04/2023 at 5:00 PM CT Provide all labor and materials to one (1) boiler at General Services Center, 1458 E. Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO 65802. Item Remove existing burner, remove ends of boiler, remove tubes from tube sheets, and inspect surface areas of boiler. Item Install new tubes in boiler, test boiler after tubes are in place. Item Install new burner, pipe gas piping to burner. Item Install new insulation on doors and openings of boiler. Item install new low water cut off safety controller on boiler. Item start and tune each boiler. This is a turnkey project. Boiler must be fully operational and ready for use upon project completion. Contractor is responsible for all cleanup and proper disposal of all removed/demolished materials. The DISTRICTs dumpsters will not be used. Contractor to obtain all necessary permits INCLUDING those required from State Boiler Inspector.
